My most valued possession is my family. Even if you are living in a box
somewhere, and you have the love and support of your family, you will always be
wealthy. Love really is all you need. From love, great things will emerge. From
your thoughts, you can create greatness. This is what I need to remind
myself of everyday to be the best person that I can be. Live your life with
gratitude. Be thankful for all that you have everyday, even if it is your eyes
to see or your ears to hear or your feet to walk or your hands to create.
Understand your place in this Universe; how infinitesimally small you are, but
how huge a contribution your Spirit is. Don't wear blinders to the world around
you, you're not the only one here. Be kind, considerate, don't be judgmental,
love others, and yourself. Know that you are perfect inside; that you are
love.

And, now...the Star Cars museum...

So, right on the busy Parkway in Gatlinburg, are many attractions. We only went to a few, this time. Another must on our list was the Star Cars museum. Authentic movie and star's cars that I know you'll recognize. Come with us on this 'quick' little tour down memory lane. I guarantee you'll smile.

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-BATMAN!

                                              So cool! I mean, really....

                                               Gone in 60 seconds.....

                                              Nick and Angelina

Yeah, it's a little creepy, but fun!

                                    Another Nick Cage movie...Ghost Rider!

The General Lee! Did you know it was originally black? It was mentioned in the episode "Happy Birthday, General Lee."

                                    Who's that?

                                     Not quite Fred and Wilma

                                             The Terminator and his Harley

                                              So, cool. Love this movie.

                                 Dragula and Herman Munster!

Now this! This was my favorite. Who doesn't remember the DeLorean! I mean, come on! They have the DeLorean!

                                        And the Hover board!

I was pretty stoked to be this close and get to look inside. It was roped off, though.
They did not want you touching any of the cars, but certain ones, for a price, you could sit in and have a staff member take your picture. Not this one, though. :(

Look, down on the left, it's the "save the clock tower" flyer.

"Come listen to a story about a man named Jed..." Yep, that's granny sitting up there!

This Mayberry police cruiser was signed on the dash by Don Knotts.

                      Another favorite...Twister.

 "It's about Dorothy."
      "What about her?"
"She's Here."
        "Where?"

Right here, Bill! How cool is that?

Mash

You remember Kit, don't you? Who didn't want a talking car when they were little? Now we have GPS systems and Siri.

Yeah, a little creepy, again, but totally worth a picture...besides...you                                             can't hassle the Hoff.

                                            Who ya gonna call.....

                                         Elvis' Cadillac

                                      And memorabilia

Michael Jackson's autographed photos and glove...

                                            ...and his Mercedes.

                                        Jurassic Park

And lastly, the Batmobile from Batman Forever with Val Kilmer, Jim Carey and Tommy Lee Jones.

So, did you have fun? We sure did. I'm glad
you came along with us.

There's more to come on our Tennessee adventures. Can't wait to share it with you.

Have a great day!
Nanette

  1. I found this museum to be a major let down. Substandard replicas and of course, Barris logos on cars he had nothing to do with. Sheer dissapointment.
